Yes on Mac. Don't know about iPhone 15.

You can easily transfer to and from MacOS by copy/ paste or drag/ drop. However, its not tested specifically with iPhone 15 Pro. The SSD requires 1.1 amps of power to get detected. If the iPhone is able to generate the required power; it will be detected. If the drive is detected can be accessed through the native FILES APP.
