“My Sandisk 64 gb flash drive only functions on one computer and will not read contents on any other computer. Therefore, I am unable to transfer my data to a new computer when the old one goes out. After years of using Sandisks this is disappointing.”

Are you using a newer flash drive, trying to match up with an older computer? It may not have the same USB port a, b or c. or visa versa.
