“Will this work on any wall in your house? Will the cords just drop down and have no 2x4’s going horizontal to obstruct the wires?”

• If your wall has the horizontal 2x4s you mention (firebreaks) you will have to choose another location to run the wire or cut a hole in the fire break to run the cord and any cables. This will require removing some drywall to drill the hole then replacing it, mudding it, texturing it and painting. This is not a difficult task.

• Most of the time the cables will drop right down. But there are times that there might be some additional bracing. Installer told me happens around stairs alot.
