“can i backup a laptop and desktop both using window 7”

• You should be able too. I backup my laptop using this drive. I have another drive that I use for my desktop but the only limiting factor to using it on the desktop would be the amount of space that is required to backup both devices.

• Yes, you can back both of the computers using this hard drive. Be warned, this brand of hard drive has lots of crash or unrecognize issues with it. You might want to look into a Western Digital portable hard drive. Much more dependable.
