You can use this with multiple devices with a few exceptions. First it cant share between Xbox and PC because Xbox will format it for the Xbox system. It can however be shared between other devices that use the same file system. Basically it will work on two or more Windows computers but not a Windows and a Mac or the other way around it will work on multiple Mac's but not a Mac and a Windows PC. The reason for this is because Windows systems use the NTFS File system and Apple/Mac products use exFAT or FAT32. It has to be setup for one or the other.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Any external drive linked to a xbox one will be wiped of any existing data and unable to be used with anything else without reformatting. Technically, you could use it on the xbox, then wipe it and use it with the laptop. But you'd be losing everything on the hard drive each time you change it up.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unfortunately no you can't the Xbox want to reformat if there is something other then Xbox files in it... But from computer to computer you can...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If it's used for Xbox you cannot share with computers. The Xbox will format it for that system only. You can share between 2 computers such as 2 macs. I tried one with Mac and windows but it did not work for me.
