Yes. I would not try and play them off of here though. Any triple A title would be severely bottlenecked by an external HD. I would pick up an internal SSHD and install it for appropriate read/write speeds for gaming. Minimally, any internal HD will work better though.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. Under Steam/Settings/Downloads click on the "Steam Library Folders" and you can install your games onto the external drive. I don't imagine it's much different to backup your games onto it.
