I have been using so called "interior" smart bulbs in an 4 sided enclosed exterior fixture for a year or so. It works perfectly. I think if there is sufficient covering then there won't be any issue.

This bulb is not recommended for outdoor use. Even in a relatively sheltered area, I wouldn't risk it.
