This is related to California's Proposition 65. Please be aware that California's Proposition 65 is a right to information law not a safety law or guideline. California's Proposition 65 entitles California consumers to special warnings for products that may contain chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm if those products expose consumers to such chemicals above certain threshold levels. Every Consumer Products company is required to post the warning no matter if their products pose any harm. Sennheiser products are all RoHs compliant, yet by law Sennheiser is required to post the Proposition 65 warning message anyway.
