“Does it work on thicker shag rugs?”

• Yes if the shag is not too long. This is the case with one of our rugs and the vac struggles. We just turn it to suction only. Other shag works fine.

• Hello Blair, This great vacuum has a cartet and bare floor setting. It can be used on thick carpet. If you find that it is hard to push, you can adjust the suction release on the hose to reduce suction. This will allow the vacuum to move more easily on thicker carpets or area rugs.
