- Answer This vaccum is extremely light weight. It picks up all the dirt around, but be careful, it will suck up smaller items on the floor if they are too close.

QuestionDoes the Shark Navigator Bagless Upright have a HEPA filter?

- Answer Yes, this machine does have a Hepa filter. When you remove the debris canister to empty the unit it is easily accessible. I gently tap the filter when I empty the unit to remove the majority of the dust trapped in the Hepa filter and have rinsed it out under the kitchen faucet and allowed it to air dry a couple of times.

Questiondoes it have a different head for rugs than for hardwood floors ? does it eat up the fringe on persian carpets ? does the pwer brush for stairs come with the main machine or is t an accessory

- Answer It uses the same head but a different setting, when in a rug, switch it completely for the brushes spin to pick up refuse, in hardwood floors there is a mid-switch setting in which the brushes don't spin and won't damage your floors. Hope this helps

- Answer For a long time if you respect it! You will need to buy extra filter's the vacuum has such a power picking up alot of dust, So I buy a couple extra filter's and hand wash them.

- Answer We are happy to assist you with your inquiry. The power cord is connected to the middle of the back of the main body of the vacuum. There is a small hook on the back of the handle to hook the power cord to, so it is out of the way while you vacuum.

- Answer You can't remove the brushroll on this Shark. To clear it out, please turn it over and carefully snip away any wrapped hair, fibers or string.

QuestionNothing is stuck in the brush roll and it is not spinning, how can i remove the bottom plate? what kind of allen key?

- Answer The tool used is not common. It’s a star shape with a round hole in the middle. If the brush doesn’t spin, it could be for a few reasons. Be sure brush roller button is turned on and handle is pulled back. The roller doesn’t spin in the upright position. Sometimes the switch inside the unit will go bad too.
