• This vaccum is extremely light weight. It picks up all the dirt around, but be careful, it will suck up smaller items on the floor if they are too close.

• Very easy to push and steer. The unit is very light, and the swivel head makes it very easy to steer.

• I would think it would work for her. It is not a very heavy or bulky vacuum. What I would say is that the suction is so good that it kind of leads you though, but it has 2 speeds.

• The hose is too short and it only comes with one extension wand, being short you won't be able to reach the ceiling.

• I believe it is very easy to push and steer. I like how it pivots when you twist the handle. It has a very large extra handle to make it easy to pick up. it is also light and smaller than most vacuums. I'm in my 50s and have no problem cleaning my stairs without using the attachments.

• I depending on your strength. At least for me, the maneuverability of this vacuum is very easy to manage to steer.
