How long should this vacuum last? null

For a long time if you respect it! You will need to buy extra filter's the vacuum has such a power picking up alot of dust, So I buy a couple extra filter's and hand wash them.

I can tell you that this is the sturdiest, well made vacuum I have ever used. I fully expect it to outlive me. With all the crazy germs in the world that are tracked in by feet, this vacuum is an investment in your respiratory health.

My last one lasted 10yrs and then the brush stopped turning- suction/motor still fine.

I wouldn't buy another Shark if they were the last ones available. Ours is only 3 years old and the hose is cracked and broken. It is not easy or cost effective to replace the hose so I am looking for better than a Shark. Buy this brand and you will get bitten!

Mine lasted 11 years of biweekly use, dog, cats and birds. I did regular maintenance, replaced filters, also replaced lower hose and cord at 8 years. I will miss it.

Not sure but I got the extended warranty. Bestbuy has great coverage.
