They have directions in the manufacturer paperwork on how to open the bottom part of the vacuum to get to the brush better to remove hair. You can not actually remove the entire brush out of the vacuum, but you can open the bottom to get better access. I have had mine for 3 months, and so far I have just been cutting the hair off the rollers while the bottom is still on. The hair doesn't get all too tangled. I use a seam ripper from my sewing kit to cut the hair that is tanged on the rollers and then I'm able to pull the hair right off the rollers with no hassle. Hope this Helps.
