Are you sure it is connected to your network? Do all the streaming channels work? On the initial connection, it should ask you to enter your wifi password( if you use one). If it is connected and the channels work, it may be up to date and no new update is available. If not, unplug it and let it sit for a few minutes and start over with Settings>>>Network>>>Set up connection.
