The TV can be used with a cable connection like any other TV. Roku can only be used when you have an internet connection. I use Roku and internet connection to stream video and eliminate the need for a cable box and the monthly rental fee for the cable box!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You don't have to use wifi. But understand there is no Ethernet port either for Internet. Deep down it is just a tv. Hook up your antenna(or cable) and all is good. I get about 20 channels with one of those cheap, flat antennas. Of course none of the Roku apps will work if it is not connected to the Internet. But I am sure you knew that.
