A:AnswerHello Laura, the unit has a random play feature. With this feature, the tracks on the disc(s) can be played in random order automatically. To random play all tracks on up to 5 discs press the PLAY MODE button on the remote repeatedly until "RANDOM" appears. Once all songs are completed on a disc it will move on to the next CD tray and randomly play songs from the disc in that tray.
A:AnswerWhen you put the speakers on either side of the stereo unit it is approximately almost 18 inches side by side ( each speaker is 5 1/2 and the stereo is almost 7 inches) and 10 1/2 inches tall and the depth of the stereo unit is 11 1/2 inches and each speaker depth is 7 1/2 inches. Also for the stereo unit you also need to factor space for the wires coming out of the back.
