The legs are about 40" apart, we have it on a 42" surface and it is just right.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I mounted mine on the wall so I can't tell you exactly what length table it will fit on. The distance between where the legs mount on the TV is 40" BUT you need a longer stand because the legs actually point out for stability . I would say you need at least a 50" stand. I tried mine on a 48' stand and it was to short so I decided to mount on the wall.
