Absolutely!!! It will harbor mold and gunk if you dont drain, clean (rinse well), and dry it after each individual use. Mold can cause health issues and ruin the foot soak machine.

I don’t believe you have to, there’s a lid kinda like a hot tub lid. Don’t drain the hot tub every use because it uses chemicals. Think salt would help. I don’t drain it every time.
