    • Answer Hi there, George! We appreciate your question. Since you can vent this unit through the right, left or rear (normal), you will not need a side ventilation kit.     • Answer Don't trust this answer. I just spoke with Kianna in the parts department at GE, and this is the part she recommended for this gas dryer stackable. Seriously. This is not expert advice. Still hunting for somebody who actually knows what they are talking about.

    • Answer Hi, Thanks for reaching out! We're happy to help today. The GFA28DSVN side venting kit isn't compatible with the GFD14ESSNWW. For side venting, you can simply detach the desired right or left side knockout by taking a hammer or screw driver to gently tap the knockout area. Please note, if you exhaust the dryer on the side, you will need to order a rear exhaust opening cover which is part number WE49X22606. Our GE Parts Team can be reached at 1-877-959-8688.
