As someone else already said, this is intended to work with the SimpliSafe alarm system, and will not function at all unless you have one of their base stations and a full indoor keypad.

To get full functionality, you also need to have an entry sensor on the door where you install it, and the $24.99/month plan. Without the 24.99 plan there's no smartphone app.

I believe you have to have a SimpliSafe security system in order for this to work. Once linked it works with Alexa and google.

You need an existing simplisafe system to connect it. Additionally, to lock and unlock remotely, you will need to be a subscriber to their security monitoring plan.

This lock is part of the SimpliSafe system, so it requires the base station to connect to. As far as I know it does not connect to anything else.
