They are not the best for noise cancellation but the do a good enough job where you can hear the person on the phone without having to ask them to repeat themselves.

yes pretty much on your end if listening to music but making a call the caller has difficulty hearing you provided they hear you at all. I've been hung up on 3x since purchasing them I could hear the caller but they could not hear me. Going to take them back, disappointed with them for what I paid.
