• You view SB on an Internet browser (like IE of Chrome). If your smart TV has a browser, then you can log into the sling website and watch it. Currently TVs may not do that very well.

• HDMI cable from your cable box to the Slingbox, and then HDMI cable from Slingbox to your TV... i.e. the Slingox is a pass-thru device.

• Connecting your Slingbox is always the same, whether you have a smart TV or not. You'd connect to the TV using either HDMI, component or composite cables, all of which are included in the box.

• connect the color coded wires to back of cable box or TV and to the slingbox.
