• Yes. You would need to connect the Slingbox to a family members home,friends, neighbors who have a working cable box.. This will allow you to stream their TV content.

• No you cant. Slingbox takes what comes out of your Cable TV box and sends it over the internet and you can watch it when away from home, on a PC or smart phone/tablet.
