Q: Questionis there an accessory I can buy to mount the speakers to a 4' pole?

Q: QuestionI have the same issue as others w/ the Sub not getting loud enough.Can the sub be wired directly to the Sub output on the Amp, then add the sub in the app, then separately control sub volume and crossover? Or is that port is only for powered subs?

• A:Answer Make sure you have the polarity right. Switch cables in each channel until you hear the subwoofer. If the Subwoofer is not connected properly, it's not going to work, and you will barely hear it.

Q: QuestionI just purchased the MAG6.1 for my pool area and will be purchasing a Sonos Beam Gen2 for my patio TV. Can these two systems be grouped together? Or will I still need a separate Sonos amp for the patio zone?

Q: QuestionIs it possible to have 2 zones with the 6.1 system? What if I set up right and left speakers in 2 different sections of my yard in case I just want to have sound on one section and not the entire yard?

• A:Answer No, you’ll need two amps to do that. One will have the right speakers setup with while the other the left. You can play them together that way or separately as you mention.

Q: QuestionDoes the subwoofer have to be buried? If it's not buried, the top can extend above the back pool wall. I'm afraid the wall will deflect a lot of the base from going the desired direction. If it works better buried, will a large planter pot suffice?

I would recommend running your in-ceiling speakers off of a 2nd amplifier like Sonos Amp. Adding additional speakers to the MAG6.1 system may damage the Sonos amplifier that is running the satellite speakers and subwoofer. I hope you found this information helpful. • A:Answer Hi, Thanks for your question. We do not recommend adding any additional speakers to the MAG6.1 system. Adding additional speakers may damage the Sonos amplifier. I would reccomed looking at our Sonance Garden Series system if you need additional speakers. This system is a step up from MAG6.1. Our Garden Series system comes with 8 satellite speakers, a larger subwoofer, and it's expandable up to 16 satellites and 2 subwoofers powered off of a single Sonance amplifier. Q: QuestionThe center where the subwoofer goes is on porcelain tile. It can’t be buried. Am I sacrificing performance?

I've seen installations where the subwoofer is buried in a large pot sitting on a patio with some plants added to hide the subwoofer, and it sounded great. This may be an option for you as well. Q: QuestionWe're putting in a pool. The 6.1 system seems to be a good solution to cover the fenced in pool area in our backyard. How is the bass from the sub? I'm not looking to blow out the neighbors, but I love playing music, and just want a high qual. sound

• A:Answer The bass from the system is deceptively good at higher volume levels but at low volume it is anemic. It especially becomes apparent that the midrange is weak if you try to use the system for something with dialogue like a movie. The upside is that with a little bit of knowledge and proper wiring, you can hook up the sub to a separate amp if it is not enough power and just be aware of the sound levels it is capable of so you don’t accidentally overload it. I installed the sub near the fence so it does a better job projecting the sound across the yard but the best sound is either right next to the house or close to the sub because of the acoustics of my yard. I may install a separate buried powered sub somewhere else in the yard and use the sub pre-out of the connect amp if I find the bass still isn’t to my liking. For music at high volume it is sufficient for now to keep up with the rest of the system as background music.
