That depends on the use case. If you're looking for something portable, with a rechargeable battery, go with the Bose. If you're looking to build out a wifi based home sound system that requires an outlet, but is wireless otherwise & will link to other Sonos speakers, choose the Play1. Both have good sound for the form factor. While it might seem like these are in the same category, they're actually very different products.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Is this the full size sound like or the soundlink mini? I've had the Bose speakers and I feel they are stronger in the bass than the Play 1. The Play 1 sounds better than the Soundlink mini. I would say it's about on par if not better in crispness and sound level as the larger Soundlink. However the Soundlink as mentioned has more bass. The Soundlink also plays via Bluetooth vs the Play 1s play via WiFi. If you plan on moving around with the device than the Soundlinks are probably a better bet. If you plan on leaving it in one spot and rarely moving it. I would go with the Sonos Play 1, the only problem with getting into the Sonos system is once you buy one you will get hooked and continue to buy more. I know, i started with 2 Play 1s. Now I have 9 Play 1s, 4 Play 5s, a Playbar, and a subwoofer!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Really depends on what you're looking for. I think the sound quality of Sonos has been shown to be clearer. Also, the Bose uses Bluetooth which reduces sound quality as opposed to the Sonos which connects directly to wifi. Now if you want to move your speakers around regularly then Sonos wouldn't be your best choice as it's designed to stay put for the most part.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Better. Much more flexible system
