• Yes. Electric outlet and Wifi is all you need.

• Tis worked fine for me. I think that the only limitation is related to the strength of the Wi-Fi signal from your program source to the player's location.

• I would not know why not as it is water resistant.. However if a thunderstorm may blow rain on it, I would take into a more protected room.

• Yes I use one on a covered deck every night. I also have wired speakers (Zone 2 is the deck) that I was thinking about adding a Connect to but not sure how it will work as a 2nd zone.

• yes, you can use these out doors with caution. they are not water proof. perhaps if you covered them when not in use or just take them outside as needed.
