• If the systems and channels you wish to turn off/on are compatible with the Alexa app or have skills in Alexa, you should be able to do that.

• If you get the Sonos 1's that are Alexa enabled, yes you can. I didn't because I already have an Echo and a Dot, but I can ask either one of them to play on my Sonos speakers... and when I'm done, a simple "Alexa stop" command shuts them down after, maybe a 1 or 2 second delay.
