They're sold separately because some people only need one at a time. For example, I initially bought two for my home theater system...Then I bought another for my bathroom, then one for the kid's room, then one for patio, then one for the study. (All bought at different times) So, I'm actually glad they sell them individually.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You are not limited by Sonos you can use two, three, four, seven speakers simultaneously. You can group the speakers also so two front speaker and one back to control the volume of each set. You can also make a set of all the speakers and pair them as a group to get even better directional sound like 7.1. Hope that helps
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Then buy two speakers. If you want a package, then buy the cheaper (quality) package deals offered. Individual speakers seem to be the way most people who piece their system together prefer. The Sonos speakers are not just for home theaters, most people that purchase them use them for more than just their home theaters.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can buy two Play 1's and Sonos allows you to configure them as a pair, one being tuned to bass and the other to treble. Additionally, you can break them up and move them around the house and select what music to play in each location. Outstanding design! Additionally, they have a bar designed specifically for home theaters.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't think there is a limit. You can buy as many as you need. I am assuming you bought an open box item which may be limited to one for each order.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would never limit you to purchase only 1 play1.Especially when your setting up a home theater system.I have and would recommend a Play bar, either 2- play1's or 2- play3's & eventually a sub woofer.
I would recommend:
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Two Sonos speakers would be terrific in a home theater, and you could even get the smaller ones -- they pack a lot of sound!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, recommened 2 for the surround sound experience
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would definitely use two Sonos 1s for home theatre!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I guess only other users are monitoring this. I get the Sonos configuration but when I went to buy 2 Sonos Play 1's the Best Buy website would only let me purchase 1 at a time. Kinda ridiculous. Sorry I wasn't more clear. Best Buy, can you fix your site...oh yeah, your implementation of PayPal needs some work as well. Thanks/.
