They work very well, the app will allow you to turn them up or down in volume

Well you can definitely tell the difference if they weren’t there. But when used as a 5.1 these speakers are designated strictly for background noise and music. I’m pretty sure there’s no dialogue. I’d recommend them if your looking to finish your sonos 5.1 set up.

They are really good speakers. They are somewhat limited by where they need to be placed. A lot of people will pair a Play 5 with two Play 1s and use the Play 1s as the rear speakers.
