Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the Sonos Play 1 speakers can easily be tuned to different services within the same home. Your daughter can move them around with no interference to their operation; they need only a wall outlet. Yes, they will synch easily to your current Sonos system. Yes, they transition well outdoors. While they certainly aren’t waterproof, they are humidity resistant and work fine outdoors as long as they remain within range wi-fi range. I would suggest they not be used in close proximity to a pool or jacuzzi since they use a 110v connection to an outlet. Otherwise, they’re the perfect outdoor solution.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought six of these a few weeks ago. Skeptical at first but have been incredibly suprised by the quality of sound and loudness. Each speaker can be grouped with all the others or each speaker can play its own source. To answer your question... yes you can move this speaker around as long as it has connectivity to the same wireless as the others. If connected then it can any different source you want. Good luck and have fun with it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.i have one in my dining room that i unplug and use on back terrace. they're not waterproof, so don't leave it unattended if the weather looks questionable. technically, you're suppose to 're-tune' the speaker whenever you move them (I did for a while) but i stopped doing that and now just plug it in. I cannot hear the difference from when i was re-tuning it, but it sounds fantastic.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the speakers can be moved to any room and from the Sonos app, each speaker can be played separately or grouped to play together. The app is a little tricky to get used to but once you figure it out you’ll have a lot of fun with them!
