Can Sonos be used with Amazon dot or echo? null

No it is a self contained system that uses the Sonos app to program what you want to listen to, you can connect Amazon prime music to it.

Not yet, but it will. Coming in early 2017 Amazon and Sonos announced that the ECHO and DOT will work with Sonos (not the Tap).

They can not be natively today, but the integration is coming early next year.
