You can't unplug them from the power outlet. There's no battery so I'm not sure what you mean by you "charged them up". They can run over wi-fi or wired to your network, but you need power. For your second question, each speaker has a "room name" (I have multiple speakers in some rooms so you can name them anyway you need to, like Den 1, Den 2, etc.). In the app you select the "rooms" you want to control and then pick the music to play from those speakers. You can control each speaker on its own or group them. You can play a different song out of each speaker or play the same song from all of them at the same time. And anything in between. Each has its own volume setting too as well as a master volume. If you're in the kitchen and only want music in the kitchen, not a problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe they have to be remained plugged in, the way they are wireless is they connect on their own wifi network. I synced mine with the sonos playbar and subwoofer, and all four speakers are on their own network. That's how they connect wirelessly to one another.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They always have to be plugged into a power source. They are “wireless” in the fact that they don’t have to be connected to a music source.
