- Answer The sound bar should be connected to the TV using the supplied digital audio cable, or an HDMI cable. The unit is self powered so you should not use an AV receiver.

QuestionI’ve had this system for not even 3 months and I LOVE IT... BUT TODAY IM GOING CRAZY because the subwoofer won’t get power and turn on. I tried plugging it in several outlets and yes it’s paired. Nothing works. What do I do?

QuestionI turned on my TV and sound bar this evening and the white bars flickered and then the sound went off. I cannot get the Sony remote to power back.. I followed the instructions in my Sony Sound Bar manual but to no avail. I have a flickering blue light.

- Answer No, you don’t need the TV sound. I set TV sound to 0. If the soundbar shows TV in front and you have connected it right it should work. Took me only 5 min to get it working.

QuestionI have a Sony HTCT290 2.1 channel soundbar with Bluetooth active subwoofer. Soundbar seems to work fine. Subwoofer (SA-WCT290) stopped turning on after about 5 - 6 months. Tried several different outlets, but power button doesn’t respond.

QuestionWhy does the subwoofer continue to stop playing or giving sound. I need to unplug it and wait, then plug it in to get it to work. But.... this needs to be done repeatedly! Please help.

Questionive had this soumdbar for about 8 months and it just stopped working... the soundbar wont turn on anymore. the wub woofer would cut out here and there sometimes for a couple days, then it would turn on. just need help. let me know please

QuestionSET UP -WON'T SELECT THE INPUT Question: When I select an input (ie: TV) and press "Enter", that input is selected for about 10 seconds, then the input disconnects and the window goes back to the flashing light input selection screen. Help please!

- Answer Hi SanAntonioLady, Make sure that you are near within the soundbar when using the remote. It's normal operation of the soundbar when no input is selected it will go back to the last page you were in. - Answer Hi Gregory, the HT-CT290/HT-CT291 is not capable of communicating with wireless speakers. If you want a surround sound setup with our soundbars, we recommend the HT-NT5 or the HT-CT800 which can be paired with our wireless speakers (SRS_ZR7, SRS-ZR5). Regards, -Mark
