Hi Mag, Great News! The XR42A90K supports the A2DP Bluetooth Profile. You can connect Bluetooth® devices such as headphones or speakers and enjoy TV sound through those devices if the TV supports the Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP). This TV doesn't have headphone output. This TV cannot output sound from both the headphones or Bluetooth audio device and the TV speakers at the same time. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It funny you said that, I have upgraded to this tv from XBR43X800H and I’m satisfied with it. To answer your question, no you can’t use Bluetooth headphones and tv speakers at the same time. I haven’t try it but perhaps hook an optical converter to the tv and hook speakers and a wired headphones then in theory it can work.
