Hello there, Thank you for considering Sony products! We appreciate your inquiry about Apple CarPlay on the XAV-AX1000 and are happy to assist you. The XAV-AX1000 does not support wireless Apple CarPlay. To use Apple CarPlay, you will need to connect your iPhone directly to the unit using a compatible USB cable. The unit does have Bluetooth for wireless audio streaming and hands-free calling, but CarPlay requires the wired USB connection.
