“Is there another USB wire from the back that can be used for CarPlay and tucked into a better place by the installer? Or is the only access to CarPlay from the front USB port?”

It does not work properly. as my daughter drives her car, it delays the direction. As she drive if she’s supposed to make a right or left turn. It doesn’t saying it till after she passes the location. then it says it. it was a lousy job. I’m disappointed once again at Best Buy, we will be bringing it back to get fixed. She is in college and she has to find a time to fix it. Hopefully they will fix it. This is very dangerous.
