Hi Midwest, Thank you for your question. Although the TV has a coax connection for cable, 4K signal from cable channels is normally supported via HDMI connection. We recommend contacting your cable provider to check the specifications of their cable connection. See a vivid, crisp picture while you watch and game, all enhanced by Full Array LED and powered by the intelligent Cognitive Processor XR™️. Sound positioning tweeters, in additional to the TV speakers, elevates the sound so what you hear matches the picture you see. Take entertainment further by pairing your BRAVIA XR™️ TV with Sony audio equipment. You’ll discover an unmatched audio-visual experience with outstanding XR picture and sound quality. -Ralph
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is no 4K live tv Content anywhere. There is occasionally Live sports Broadcast in 4K but thats extremely RARE. 99% of all Broadcast tv is 720P 1080i. There is lots of 4K available using the Google TV platform that is installed in this tv. Plus all the other numerous apps and streaming services. Coax cable tv is obsolete 90% of the country cable through coax is encrypted requires android streaming or some sort of a set top box. If you are Talking about OTA 3.0 Yes this TV has that. But good luck finding 4k from your local networks anytime soon.
