“Is this better then the 950 series as I was looking at this tv first Would this be a downgrade from the 950 , j just curious the difference. Or is it just an improved model of 800 or 900 series. Any info would be helpful. Thank You”

To give you a simple answer, no! There is a world of different between the 800 and 900 series TV's. The 800 series are Sony's entry level models, where the 900 series is their mid-level models. The 800 series use the X1 processor where the 950 uses there X1 Ultimate processor. Go to Sony's TV website and compare the two models and you can see the difference yourself.
