My absolute favorite was the 65" Samsung MU8000 series. When I bought that TV, the Best Buy rep had recommended the Bravia but I didn't want to spend a couple hundred more at the time. I liked the Samsung MU so much (great picture, ease of use, awesome smart remote) I went for a lower model later that year at Black Friday, picking up a lesser modeled 58". That Samsung...sucked (slower, standard remote was difficult to operate, always had to reset the tv to use Netflix/Prime). Getting a new home this year, my living room called for 75" inch, and because I wanted to add Atmos surround I went with the Bravia (Samsung doesn't have Atmost support). My only other hesitation was moving away from the Samsung smart remote. But, this Sony flat out ROCKS!!!! The picture quality is absolutely fantastic and the colors are robust. Even regular HD looks like 4K. And, the buttons on the comfortable remote are easy to find. It pains me to say it, but this tv is even better than the MU Series. For comparison, my friend next door recently bought a 75" LG Nanocell and this Sony blows it out of the water, hands down. With the Sony in our main living room, and the Samsung MU in our loft, I'm completely happy with my entertainment setup (I'll eventually add Atmos surround to the loft as well w/ the Samsung through our AppleTV).

Definitely would buy again. The tv is easy to set up and has all the different apps like Netflix, Hulu, etc. The colors are very vibrant and you can see crystal clear images on the tv. Great for movies or just everyday cable tv. Would highly recommend to buy.

It has quality picture and it sound is perfect for me and it is loud, no need to buy sound bar. I connected to my network and start watching, also I can switch between the apps I use so easy, no manual need to know how to work on it. I get some free apps installed it directly from Play Store to watch free movies. Is that so simple, yes it is. Couple times have couple issues with the tv when the sound is not running, and I just figured it out, because the Sony TV is called Android TV so it is just like phone, just restart it and will back and work perfectly. I’m happy with it. Just like that! BTW the picture is not perfect because I took it from my iPad

Excellent picture quality for a large TV

Was able to combine external Bose sound system with the TV sound system to produce optimum sound quality. Noticable improvement in picture definition for fast moving sports like soccer. No more blurred images. Very satisfied with this TV and happy to report the very good reviews I used in making my buying decision were true.

Great 75” TV

The true color and perfect blacks this tv provides is perfect. It doesn’t have that over saturated color look, which I like, but Vivid mode can provide that aspect if that’s what your looking for. And the compatibility with android and Apple TV makes everything click.

I simply love the TV, it has such a crystal clear picture, the surroundsound is wonderful loud and clear and it sure is the centerpiece of the living room!! Also it was at a very affordable price, the installation gentlemen were very polite while they put the legs on my TV and set it on my new entertainment center making sure I was fully satisfied with the placement before they left. What else can I say I am very satisfied all the way around!

Setup was more than easy, everything is very user friendly. Sound is AMAZING and I have mine sitting table-top. I am in love with the amount of apps this TV came with. What has been the BEST??? NO LAG, absolutely no lag when you type or otherwise. My bf has a very expensive Samsung and the thing always lags, I cannot stand it.

I was not disappointed! Sony for my money is a much better TV. The LG NanoCell is touted for its black color levels and it was great. The Sony XBR X800H TV stands right up to the NanoCell and exceeds it in my opinion. I will not be returning this TV

Noticed some picture lag on streaming and DVR'd content, but learned I can get rid of it by turning off the MotionFlo feature; the jury's still out. This is my 2nd Sony Bravia, upgraded from a 65" and am very happy with the product and the cinema experience it provides. Removed one star due to the lag issue, but hopefully that won't return.

Menu's are are fairly intuitive and the android eco system provides every app you could ever need or subscribe to. This would be 5 stars if it were not for issues with this TV's eARC compatibility issues. This is a new television but it only supports ARC, I purchased a Sony receiver (Model# STRDN1080) to pair with this system which uses the eARC standard. While I was able to control the receiver and the TV over CEC I was not able to get passthrough audio from the TV to the receiver for apps like Netflix which appears to be an issue the the ARC support of the TV. Please note, the receiver was listed specifically as compatible with this series of TV (even mentioned within the menu when setting up device control).

We value your input regarding the eARC connection of this X800H and appreicate the feedback. Unfortunately, the X800H doesn't support an eARC connection.
In order to hear Dolby ATMOS content, you will need to plug an external source directly into the Dolby ATMOS enabled AV receiver or soundbar, then use HDMI OUT on the receiver (when applicable) to send the video content to the TV. This will allow the TV to display the content, while the receiver plays back Dolby ATMOS.

Even the internal speakers/sound is good (let's me wait and save up a bit for a sound bar/surround sound system in a few months). Had Geek Squad install the TV over the fireplace and am glad I did as they did a fine job quickly which would have taken me some time due to the size, weight of TV and height above floor. I am VERY happy with this purchase.

Good picture quality, and sound,streaming works good, even at lower brightness settings the picture is plenty bright and clear! There are probably plenty features on the TV that I will never use but for regular TV viewing Netflix YouTube TV it works great. Screen mirroring from your phone is very convenient and streaming music from your phone to the television speakers is a nice feature you can turn off the screen while streaming music.

I have always heard great things about Sony products especially their home theater items and I was pretty darn giddy to finally test one out for myself. The TV has phenomenal picture quality, the smart TV features all work perfectly and the possibilities with this TV are near endless since you can add external audio devices and download a multitude of apps from the App Store.

After comparing size, price and features, I went with the Sony 75”. The picture is great and I am totally satisfied with the tv. I had the screen mounted professionally taking into consideration its size. Installers were quick and professional. Great tv for size and price.

Love the options but I find myself watching it less than the other I had due to constant glitches with the WiFi or just connecting to directv. I hate that I have to reboot it every few days for it to work. Somewhat disappointed. I’d return it but my schedule is so hectic and I had to pay for it to be mounted as well so that would be another way obstacle. It’s beautiful though.
