You will need the connection bridge if you plan to do a seamless installation where you don’t cut wires. If you want to cut wires, Metra makes these, and usually BestBuy sells them, but you have to ask as they are in the install bay, no kit is needed for that. The steering wheel controls if you have them may also need a kit to make them work. This unit does CarPlay, and supports all CarPlay supported apps. Generally a CarPlay upgrade requires replacing the whole head unit with a Mopar unit, or something like this.
