Hi Ruth, Sony commitment to customer satisfaction is our top priority. There are different shooting modes on our ILCE6100 such as, manual exposure mode, shutter priority mode, aperture priority mode, program auto mode and etc. If you want to control both aperture and shutter speed at the same time, you can use the Manual Exposure Mode.
