PlayMemories Home is necessary to import XAVC S or AVCHD movies to your computer.

A:AnswerThere is no best setting for picture quality but for best resolution and frame rate we recommend setting the record to file format = XAVC S HD at image size = 1920x1080 with framerate = 60p (60 frame per second) for sharp and smooth video

I liked it a lot and found that it has a feature that allows you to take videos and instantly take a picture too
