YES!! I got this just prior to a vacation and was very happy with Picture and video Quality, the zoom range is very large, its 60 times, so I think thats plenty, any beyond is impossible to keep from shake or focus, so its enough for a stadium game, I liked it a lot and found that it has a feature that allows you to take videos and instantly take a picture too
