• Great question NorthV! The CRE-E10s come with a one year warranty which covers battery issues. There are also protection plans that you can purchase on sony's website within 90 days of purchase to extend this coverage. If battery replacement is need outside of warranty this would need to go in for repair. Regards, Erin
