This is a 5.2 channel reciever. So two main stereo channels, two surround channels, one center channel, and two subwoofer channels. It doesn't have extra outputs for hooking up two rooms, it's meant for a single room theater setup. So your other two tower speakers would have to be used as surround sound speakers, or hooked up to each other (bridged together). This system has great sound when playing stereo sound sources like CD's, FM radio, and Records in surround sound mode on all 5 speakers.

Also, when matching speakers and Audio/Video (A/V) receivers, the ohm rating of the speaker should be equal to or greater than the ohm rating of the receiver to avoid a risk of hardware damage. Any speakers that feature bare wire connection will work to this receiver, as long as their impedances are from 6 to 16 ohms. Regards, David
