“I have an Str-d665 that has stopped working. Would the str dh590 be an equal unit to replace?”

Yes it would, mine did the same and now what a difference. It was way easier to setup got way more features and was very compatible with alot of my old and new devices. However I did need to upgrade certain things to get the full effectiveness.
