• For absolute clarity: The Front L/R can use banana plugs or bare wire; the Center and Surround L/R use only the bare-ended wire.

• I have all 5 speakers connected with "wire". No issues. I know the center and rear won't but can't remember for sure if the front L & R will accept banana plugs.
