I have 2 sets of speakers. 2 speakers inside the house, and 2 speakers outside. Is there a traditional a/b type switch so I can direct the sound between inside the house and outside the house (not both at the same time)? null

No there is only a main left and right and center right surround and left surround. I suggest if you are using this amplifier to get an impedance matching speaker selector, you can run one set indoor/outdoor or both at the same time.

Unfortunately, this AV receiver doesn't support an A/B switch function.
