Sorry, this turned out to be my HDMI source that happened to start intermittently going out when I switched to the new stereo. Took forever to figure it out, because it was intermittent, and it happen to start when I put in the new stereo. I’m all set now.

Please try again later.Maybe I was not clear, this goes black for a second every 10-20 min (otherwise it is working), like it switches inputs (but I did not touch anything I'm just trying to watch TV) and displays the input in the lower left as if I just switched it, even though I did not do anything. The answer given seems to be for flashing, which is not what it is doing.
