Not sure which USB I can connect an iPad to null

I would use Bluetooth to connect your iPad to the receiver. Power up the receiver and iPad enable Bluetooth on both and the receiver and iPad should recognize each other. Tapping the receiver selection on the iPad will complete the connection and you are ready to play music via the receiver and the connected speakers.
